All Stars

Recently, I did some interior art for a new release from Hex, "All Stars", A game of low-budget superheroics. Basically, it's a game about the other guys. The super heroes that just didn't quite make it. Think "The Tick" or "Mystery Men". At any rate, this project was a lot of fun.

You can purchase your very own copy, written by Steve Johnson, with cover art by the talented Lindsay Hornsby, and interior art by Leighton Connor, Josh Burnett, and myself here.

Until next time, take care and be good!
Your friend,
Jeffrey

Gum Hammer - Thanks for stopping in! I don't know whether you are familiar with the qags game system, but one of the character creation features is "who would play him in the movie?" or "wwphitm?". Usually when I'm doing illustrations for Hex, I keep this in mind. Either with their pre-gen profiles, or as in this case by making those decisions when I'm designing them. As it turns out, I WAS thinking about Ron Jeremy as the Clam King, so good catch! Thanks for the comment!

Nance- I hope he hasn't caused you too much trouble. Ha-ha-ha! I hope you're having a great time with HEG. My mom's been lamenting the fact that it's been over a month since she's seen the girls. They're excited to see her in a week or so.

Hahaha! That's too funny, man. Great stuff. You're really finding your style in these, man! Keep 'em coming!

Thanks, Ryan! I actually feel like this is more of my "natural" drawing style. Meaning I don't fight with the drawings so much.

I'm glad you think they're funny. I worry sometimes that because I work alone and don't have anybody to bounce jokes off of, they fall flat.
